Our approach
We contribute to the society where we live and operate, by doing our business best and assuming the responsibility for the consequences of the products and services we offer.
As a result of our passion for being an excellent, reliable financial organization, we also take seriously our responsibilities towards people and environment. This attitude does not result only from the necessity of doing the right thing or from the desire to get reputation (BG- this sentence is not much meaningful in Turkish and can be deleted). To be a successful a company, we believe our business decisions must be compatible with the expectations and interests of our stakeholders we deem as the reason for our existence.
Moreover, we think this responsibility awareness creates a better and more comprehensive risk management, an attractive option for proud employees and potential employees, and new business opportunities. Our social responsibility strategy built upon such beliefs tells how a company we desire to be, what areas we focus on and how we assume the responsibility of our decisions.

As a financial organization, we provide products and services meeting our customers’ expectations, harmless to the environment and people, high quality, and easily accessible. It is our aim to continue to increasingly develop more sustainable products and services.

People
We create a working environment, open, secure, essential and encouraging, for our employees, thereby, supporting successful, professional and loyal work force. We respect human rights in all our business, whether it is related to our own employees or other people affected by our operations and business decisions.

Environment
As the group, we aim to reduce our negative footprint on the natural environment. We train our employees on environmentally responsible behaviors and encourage them to act so through awareness programs. In addition, we avoid doing things with environmentally unfavorable effects and try to reduce such effects as much as possible. We integrate sustainable development principles into our business decisions and procedures.

Society
As one of the leading global organizations, we believe that we have a responsibility to positively contribute to the society. Thus, we focus on children and education, financial training and the protection of natural environment. Our employees, being at the heart of our public investment programs in both developed and developing countries, attach great importance to make pecuniary contributions to, or work as a volunteer in, our programs developed by the global or local branches.
