Some countries offer short, medium or long term financing facilities to encourage exports through their Export Credit Agencies for companies to import goods from specific countries. Our Bank acts as an intermediary for such type of credits, providing financing to our importers on favorable conditions.
Although this financing is intended for imports of investment goods such as machinery, and equipment in general; there also exist ECAs providing financing for intermediary / consumption goods besides investment goods, e.g. Taiwan Exim.

Our Bank also has close relationships with such international credit agencies as the World Bank, IFC (International Finance Corporation), OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation) and EIB (European Investment Bank) and credits secured therefrom on favorable conditions are used to satisfy our customers’ foreign currency and/or long term investment credit requirements.
