Account Management Fee
As of March 1, 2014, our Bank's Account Management Fee for current accounts will be 9,35 TL (including BITT), and this fee will not be collected from ING Daily Package holders.

  • The account management fee may be increased up to twice a year by no more than 20%, and the relevant price changes will be notified to you 30 days in advance by e-mail, ATM, telephone, SMS or similar methods.
  • You have the right to cancel the product or service within 15 days following the date of implementation. In the case that you exercise your cancellation right within this period, no additional interest, fees and/or commissions will be collected from you for the new period.
  • In case of an annual price change that exceeds 20%, your request will be separately required.
  • The Account Management Fee will not be collected from the current accounts of our customers who have an ING Daily Package, or 2 or more automatic bill payment orders at our bank.

Deposit Insurance Requirement
In accordance with the “Regulation on Deposits and Participation Funds Subject to Insurance and Premiums Collected by Savings Deposit Insurance Fund” published in the official Gazette number 26339 dated 07/11/2006;

For individual accounts -where commercial transactions are excluded with the exception of checking activities- opened in domestic branches of a credit institution that operates in Turkey, in forms of Turkish Lira, foreign exchange currency and precious metals accounts, principal plus the interest of the savings deposit accounts are insured up to 100.000 TL per each individual.

Deposits at overseas branches of deposit banks, deposits at credit institutions that engage in off-shore banking activities in Turkey and abroad, and extreme interest rates that are above the maximum interest rates publicly announced by the bank and reported to the Central Bank, or above the average interest rate offered by the five deposit banks with the highest total deposits are not included within the scope of the insurance.

How can I find out my IBAN?

How is IBAN generated?
Consisting of numbers and letters, IBAN refers to a single account among all back accounts. Each account has one IBAN, and each IBAN refers to only one account.

The IBAN standard is determined freely by each country, with a maximum length of 34 alphanumeric characters. The first 4 digits are the 2-digit country code and the 2-digit control number. The control number shows whether or not the IBAN is correct and valid. The digits after that indicate the national account number.

The length of IBAN in Turkey is 26 digits. The structure of Turkish IBAN is as below:

What is IBAN?
IBAN is the international bank account number used instead of the current customer accounts. By internationally defining each customer account number at banks, it enables money transfers to be performed quickly, without errors and at low cost. A country-wide bank customer account number in standard length must be created. Today, in addition to European Union countries, some other countries also use IBAN.

Is it mandatory to use IBAN in money transfers?
As of January 1, 2010, the use the IBAN of the sender and the recipient has become mandatory in money transfer transactions.

With the regulation, bank customers have started to use IBAN when making money transfers within the same bank or from a bank to another bank, between their accounts or from their own accounts to another account. Additionally, the recipient's IBAN is also used in money transfers to the European Economic Area countries and other countries using IBAN.

How can I state my IBAN in electronic environment and paper environment?
If the IBAN will be processed or kept in electronic environment, all letters and numbers must be entered side by side without and spaces or separation characters (parenthesis, comma, dash etc.)
(Ex: TR760009901234567800100001)

If the IBAN will be stated on paper, it must be written from left to right in groups of 4 digits separated with a space. If there are more numbers at the end after writing the number in groups of 4 digits, they must also be written side by side.
(Ex: TR76 0009 9012 3456 7800 1000 01)
